Curt Hennig (March 28, 1958 – February 10, 2003), also known by his stage name Mr. Perfective, was an American professional wrestler who competed for the American Wrestling Association, World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling promotions.
Career
A boy of matman Larry "The Axe" Hennig, Curt Hennig was one of a virtually all popular stars in the AWA prior to he turned heel and won the AWA Globe Heavyweight Title from either Nick Bockwinkel. He utilized the roll of coins given to him by Larry Zbysko and he held the title for around a year prior to running to the WWF.
Hennig was one of a virtually all detested & at days loved WWF performing artist in a period of the late 1980s and early 1990s, winning the Intercontinental Title on two occasions. When you took the irregular injury-forced retirement inside 1992, he became "executive consultant" to Ric Flair during Flair's World Title process in the WWF.
When briefly giving to active competition within 1993 and 1994, he spent some period as a color commentator for WWF programming, & inside 1997 he signed with WCW. He briefly joined a Four Horsemen but turned on the two after he hit Ric Flair upstairs by owning the cage door. Successively, he joined a nWo and soon experienced his childhood right friend, Rick Rude, by his side. He won a United States Title around late 1997, and the World Tag Team Titles in 1999 with Barry Windham. Touching a prevent of his WCW dog, he was a leader of The West Texas Rednecks with Barry, his brother Kendall Windham and Bobby Duncum, Jr. They were supposed to be heels to feud with rapper Master P's No Limit Soldiers but the southern WCW fans cheered them and the storyline was soon dropped. the Cracker recorded a united states song titled I personally Hate Rap that received occasionally airplay.
He returned to WWE inside 2002 as a surprise competitor in the Royal Rumble but was released from either the company late in the season when reportedly becoming inebriated & developing into a fight using Brock Lesnar on a link to flight from either a United Kingdom. When existence fired from either a WWE, he went in to operate for TNA and Jimmy Hart's All Star Wrestling.
In February 10 2003 Curt Hennig died in the Floridthe hotel room, good prior to a scheduled TNA wrestling match. A Tampa Coroner's professional & a Tampa Medical Examiner's professional declared intense cocain intoxication a official induce of his demise.
